Dramatic Play

This post is a little late but here it is anyways.  For our first two weeks of preschool I wanted to introduce dramatic play through a very obvious medium that the kids would recognize and be familiar and comfortable with.  This was obviously a "house".  I had a play kitchen, kitchen table, and a "nursery" with all sorts of baby dolls and baby doll things.  It also helped the children get to know each other and start to play together.

Esther can change a baby's clothes better than I can!  her fine motor skills are amazing.  I was watching her with such amazement, snapping snaps, buttoning buttons, pulling their arms and legs through little holes.
