fish

For our fish unit my wonderful "assistant" Hanna made these AMAZING felt fish and ocean life.  They went perfectly with this book "Commotion in the Ocean".  We read the book once.  And then again adding the correct felt pieces to our ocean.

I left the book and felt pieces out all week for kids to play with and explore.  We have some great fish, ocean, and of course Nemo stories going all on all week at our felt board.  The shark may or may not have eaten all the fish.

I also had a few ocean discovery bottles I put out.

I tried to get a good picture of this one - it is oil and water with a dolphin in it - it looks like a wave when you move it and the dolphin only stays in the water.  The kids loved it.
